Cabbage flan (Flan di Cavolo) is one of the typical Italian foods made with Fontina cheese, Savoy cabbage, grated Parmigiano cheese, milk, cream, onion, eggs, egg yolks, pepper and Salt. For more details can see the table below :
Ingredients for Cabbage flan
- 450g Fontina cheese
- 250g Savoy cabbage
- 25g grated Parmigiano cheese
- 400ml of milk
- 150ml of cream
- 1/2 onion
- 2 eggs
- 4 egg yolks
- Salt and pepper
Instructions for Cabbage flan
- Combine the onion and cabbage together, and then shred them in a blender.
- Strain with a strainer.
- Add the eggs and the cream, and whisk well.
- Butter 4 molds; pour in the mixture and cook, covered, in a bain-marie at 160°c until firm.
- flan with Fontina cheese sauce.
